Getting named in AI answers
AI answers are assembled from sources the model can reach, parse and trust. These eleven things decide whether yours is one of them.
What is on it
- You rank in classic search first, that is still the biggest input
- The answer sits in the first paragraph, not the eighth
- Each section makes sense lifted out on its own
- Your robots file lets the AI crawlers in, by name
- Your pages render without JavaScript
- Structured data tells the machine what the page is
- The update date is real and recent
- One page answers one question, properly
- Other sites reference you by name, not just by link
- Your claims carry sources a model can verify
- You publish often enough to be the current answer
