I'm Joshua Vaz. I'm a forward deployed engineer, which means I build AI systems alongside the people who will use them, and I stay long enough to see what breaks.
Most of what breaks is not the model. It is everything around it: what happens when the output is wrong, who can see whose data, what the bill does in a busy month, and whether anyone can explain what the system decided and why.
Shipping an AI demo is easy now. Keeping it trustworthy when people rely on it is the actual job, and it is the part nobody writes about in plain English.

Why this site exists
I write for founders and operators who are paying for AI but can't read the code. Every article opens with the answer, ends with something you can check, and names its sources. The cheat sheets are free and always will be.
I also build small things of my own. Kahani Ghar is a bedtime-stories app for kids in Hindi and English. Riya is a consumer AI app with a memory design I wrote about on this site. Building them is where I learn things the hard way before I write about them.
